Monique Wilson
Board Member – President
Monique Coleman-Byas has always believed that a stable home, a supportive family, and access to education are the foundations every child needs to succeed. Raised in a household of seven siblings, Monique put her ownlife on hold to help care for her younger brothers and sisters. During one of the most devastating drug epidemics to impact the Black community, Monique—then a teenager—took in a young child whose mother struggled with addiction. Despite her own mother’s disapproval, she ensured the child was clothed, fed, and in school each day. That act of courage and compassion would define her lifelong calling: to care for children in need. View Full Bio | Email Monique
